Karen has worked as a chartered physiotherapist in adult neurology for over 20 years, in the UK and in Canada, with extensive experience working in the NHS, the private sector, with in and outpatients and in a community setting. Currently enjoying working for Therapy fusion in Stratford, Karen has also now branched out to set up Specialist Physiotherapy.
She has become a specialist in the assessment, treatment and management of a wide range of neurological conditions such as brain injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy and spinal cord injuries, and now feels that her interest in neurological physiotherapy is ‘in her blood.’!
Karen has completed basic and advanced Bobath training and now uses a variety of approaches to optimise a patient’s ability to reach their goals. A particular interest in hydrotherapy has developed, with an aquatic therapy qualification specialising in neurological conditions,advocating the beneficial effect of water for patients.
Karen also has considerable experience with older people in a nursing home and in their own homes, aiming to address their needs and enabling an improvement in mobility and quality of life.

Karen is strongly motivated to provide excellent physiotherapy to meet the client’s needs, supporting them to be as able as they can be, and to living a life that is purposeful and meaningful again.
Karen is a member of the Health and Care Professions Council, Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, and Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Neurology.
